Last week, 29 had the honour of hosting the Little Black Dress in association with the Scottish Style Awards
The event itself was organised by Scottish Style Awards founder Mary McGowne, and presented in association with Chambord, was a celebration of the most glamorous and iconic of fashion staples.

We also had the pleasure of seeing the event being hosted by STV’s Laura Boyd, the guests of 29 watched a runway show featuring interpretations of the little black dress from Mulberry, House of Fraser, Reiss, Cruise, L.K. Bennett, Debenhams, Karen Millen, M&Co, Hobbs, Jaeger and John Lewis.

From start to finish it was a joy to work with such a professional team. Nothing was a problem and everyone – including the fantastic front of house waiters and the team on reception – really went beyond the call of duty in helping us make the show a success.

The Network Bar was a fantastic space for us to stage a salon show especially with everything we needed as far as light, sound, etc. already in the room. This made the event affordable to put on and I will certainly be in touch about future events that might be of interest.” – Mary McGowan, Scottish Style Awards
