Since the right for same-sex couples to be together through a civil partnership, we have proudly hosted many civil partnerships in the grounds of 29 Glasgow.

This month Scotland made a monumental step forward into the modern age, when a bill for same sex marriage was passed in parliament at a whopping 105 votes to 18.

In Scotland, same-sex couples currently have the option to enter into civil partnerships, but SNP ministers brought forward their Marriage and Civil Partnership Bill, saying the move was an important step for equality.

Having always been treated as equals in 29, we treated every civil partnership that took place in 29 Glasgow as an official wedding, but now we can say with pride that from now on, they will be true weddings.

“We just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for making our “Big Day” so very special. Everything went to plan and we all had a fantastic day. You and the other staff on the day were superb, and the service was second to none, from the minute we entered to the time we left”

Many same-sex couples have celebrated their love for each other with us, and we can’t wait to have the first official marriage and many more after that in our club.
